There will be a big celebration going on at IFT Expo Booth 3635 as McIlhenny Company marks its 140th year of making TABASCO® Brand Pepper Sauce. TABASCO® Brand Ingredients, most varieties of which are made with the same oak-aged mash from the original pepper sauce, will be showcasing all 10 ingredients formulas.
Food will be abundant at the TABASCO® booth. Cajun Kettle, maker of the famous
New Orleans Jazz Fest Crawfish Monica, will be displaying some traditional Cajun cuisine as well as other foods spiced with world famous TABASCO®. This year is also the debut of Spiced Carrot Cake Ice Cream with TABASCO®, a perennial favorite. IFT attendees are also invited to register to win a hand-painted artisan chair with the colors and flare of New Orleans and customized with the winner’s name on it.
Other foods to be served are co-branded products such as Hormel Hot & Spicy Chili, Vlasic Kosher Dill Spears, Slim Jim®, Dean’s® Dips, Cheez-It® Crackers, and Heinz® Ketchup Kick’rs. Chef Jason Gronlund, manager of ingredients sales and culinary services, will be available to answer any questions.
