1987, McIlhenny Company formed its first co-branding partnership with Goodmark

Jim Spiced with TABASCO® Sauce, as well as for other partners
such as Hormel Hot & Spicy TABASCO®
Flavored Chili, Jelly Belly TABASCO®
Flavored Cinnamon Jelly Beans, TABASCO®
brand Popcorn and many more.
McIlhenny Company continues to license its trademarks for co-branding
use, under certain conditions. Our criteria for co-branding partnerships are
as follows:
- There is no conflict with a current co-brand or license agreement.
- The product must fit with our TABASCO® brand customer profile.
- The product must be a category leader (holds at least 3rd market share position).
- The product must have national distribution (foodservice, retail, or a combination
of both).
- The manufacturer must have current placement or open dialogue with club stores.
- The manufacturers overseas markets are reviewed on an individual basis.
- Royalty and minimum ingredient purchase are required.
Although we cannot offer a co-brand to all of our valued customers, we will
review each and every opportunity. If you feel your company and product fit the
above-mentioned criteria, please contact us.
In the event that your product does not fall within our co-branding requirements
to feature our logo as part of your main label design, you can still be an Industrial
Ingredients partner and list our TABASCO® brand Ingredient(s) in your products
ingredient statement. If you do choose to list the TABASCO® brand Ingredient
in your ingredients statement, it is required that you use our registered trademarks
properly.
McIlhenny Company reserves the right to review and approve any and all references
to its trademarks or mentions of industrial ingredient products, which incorporate
the brand name TABASCO®.
